Cities and regions served
Geolocating the first address of each of the 6 largest ranges places Infonet customers in Tallinn (Põhja-Tallinna linnaosa), Tallinn, Harkujärve. Residential blocks are assigned per region, so a lookup of a Infonet address usually resolves to the subscriber's metropolitan area rather than an exact street.
Is Infonet a VPN or proxy?
No. Infonet is classified as a residential ISP network and none of the 6 sampled ranges appears in the datacenter list, so an address from AS8728 normally belongs to a subscriber's home router or phone. That is the profile of a genuine residential IP — the opposite of a VPN or datacenter proxy. Note that residential proxy networks can still route through consumer devices on any ISP, so a clean network is a strong signal, not a guarantee.
